OARA’s Commitment to Equity

OARA is a small founder led company. As the company grows and is required to spend money, it will be done in a way that recognizes systemic racism and the opportunity to work against it. OARA commits to the following:  

  • Implementing anti-racist personnel policies, racial-equity training, and a company culture that values racial equity.

  • Offering equal pay.

  • Providing employees a voice in decision-making practices.

  • Donating resources to organizations working to address systemic racism.

  • Paying a living wage. 

  • Removing implicit bias from the employment applications process.

  • Working with business service providers (i.e. lawyers, accountants, suppliers, farmers, etc.) that identify as women, black, indigenous, and/or people of color.
